Alpine German Speaking Mission....The most beautiful mission in the world!

"But this is not all; they had given themselves
to much prayer, and fasting; therefore they
had the spirit of prophecy, and the spirit of
revelation, and when they taught, they taught
with power and authority of God"

Visiting the Castle and Living it up doing the Lord's Work!

This week we went to the castle in Burghausen again, and took some good time exploring it.
Such a pretty area! Most beautiful mission in the world!

I found this cool little plaque when we were in Munich one day and I thought it was
really cool, so I snapped a picture of it! It says, "We are not only responsible for what
we do, but also what we don't do." This really hits me and makes me realize that we always
need to be doing our best, we may not be doing something we shouldn't, but we may not
always be doing those things that we can, or should. The Lord knows how much of
ourselves we give, and ultimately it's Him who we are accountable to. Don't forget or choose
not to do the small and simple things! When we do this, we are blessed. Have a good week everybody!

Aufwiedersehen to the Herrings, iPads, and other Exciting Stuff!

We had apartment inspections last week, and afterwards the Storrers took us out to lunch!
They are a super cool missionary couple in Salzburg. They are way awesome!

Well, it was going to happen sometime, we have said goodbye to the Herring Family. They
are heading back to the States after being here for 6 months for work. They will be surely missed!
Such an awesome family. Brother and Sister Herring both gave talks in Sacrament meeting
yesterday and Brother and Sister Greenhalgh translated for them into German. It was really cool.

Had to throw a picture in here of some beautiful German scenery. We went to Burghausen again today and checked out the castle and saw more of the city. Schön oder? (:

Receiving Packages, Having Fun in the Kitchen, and Doing the Lord's Work!

As you can imagine getting packages is always nice and deeply appreciated.
I want to give a shout out to the Lowe family for sending me a package. You guys
are awesome, thank you so much! My companion, Elder Weston, and I will
for sure enjoy the water balloons and water gun.

Thought I would throw this picture in here too, since I didn't have anything to add.
Fun times in the kitchen (:

Goodbye to the Lotts and Stake Conference!

This week was our last week and District Meeting with the Lotts. They will be heading home!
They will be greatly missed. They are such awesome examples and teachers to look up to.
In honor of our last District Meeting together, we wrote on the white board all the things
we love and appreciate about the Lotts. They really liked that and it was really cool (:
We will really miss Sister Lott cooking for us for District Meetings and we will also
miss their experience, cool stories, and sense of humor. Gott sei mit Euch bis Aufwiedersehen!

We also had Stake Conference this weekend! It was way good, and we got to hear from
our Member of the Area 70 Presidency, President Kearon. Both Saturday and Sunday had
way good meetings. After Conference on Sunday we went back to Martin's and celebrated
his birthday with him! We grilled and it was a good time. I was in charge of the grill (:
