Alpine German Speaking Mission....The most beautiful mission in the world!

"But this is not all; they had given themselves
to much prayer, and fasting; therefore they
had the spirit of prophecy, and the spirit of
revelation, and when they taught, they taught
with power and authority of God"
Alma 17:3

Last Day in the MTC

Well, I have enjoyed our time at the MTC. It was a cool experience that I will never forget. I met lots of other great missionaries and made a lot of new friends. Our last night here was pretty emotional, we all have grown really close. I will definitely miss our teachers, who are such great examples and mentors. As well as all the other missionaries who I came to know.

Sister Gehrig and I,

Brother Grouhi,

Brother Toropainen,

and Brother Wilkinson!

I will add more pictures later!

Church History Tour!

 Downtown Preston and Downham

Sunday we walked up to the temple and took some more pictures.
It was really cool because it was all foggy and misty.

This is the town square in downtown Preston. Among the first original 7 missionaries
to come to England were Heber C. Kimball and Parley P. Pratt.
The history of the church is very storied here in England, especially in Preston,
which was the fist place that the original 7 missionaries came when they reached England.
They did a lot of preaching in this town square.

This plaque celebrates 150 years of the church being in England.
This is found in a Japanese Garden in the middle of Preston.

A stunning view overlooking the village of Downham and
some beautiful British countryside. It's one of the few villages that's
been preserved and kept in original condition.

Good ole England MTC!

I realized I hadn't posted a picture of me
and the MTC sign yet so here it is!
Other than that, not much to report on this week.

Another cool shot of the temple.
