Alpine German Speaking Mission....The most beautiful mission in the world!
"But this is not all; they had given themselves
to much prayer, and fasting; therefore they
had the spirit of prophecy, and the spirit of
revelation, and when they taught, they taught
with power and authority of God"
Alma 17:3

New Companion!
Elder Batzke, from Northern Germany, is Elder Carter's new comrade in the beautiful mission field of Austria! Elder Carter is also training.
Elder Carter is excited to have a German companion. They decided to speak only English while in the apartment and only German outside the apartment. Since there are several different dialects in this area, Elder Carter is learning them, and Elder Batzke will sharpen up his English!

Mormon Tabernacle Choir Concert
I don't know how I overlooked posting the email and picture Colton sent on July 4th.....thought I would go ahead and post it.
While still in Vienna the missionaries there had the opportunity to go to a Mormon Tabernacle Choir Concert in one of the biggest Concert Halls in the world. He said there were well over two thousand people, maybe more. He said they blew the roof off with their performance!
What an awesome experience that must have been!
