Let's not forget the reason for this wonderful season, our Savior,
Jesus Christ. He was the first and very best Christmas present there
ever was and ever will be. Because of Him we enjoy this time of year
with the peace and knowledge and joy that there's something more to
this crazy time of year, to the last minute trip to the grocery store,
to the hectic schedules, to the high expectations of Christmas parties
and celebrations. It's about so much more. It's about refreshing our
perspective on what really brings true happiness into our lives and
into the world. Love. Service. Light. Hope. He is gift of all gifts.

'I'm staying! I'm staying! Whoa I'm staying in Neumarkt until I come home, which will be February 2, 2017 😀 there was a possibility that there would have been a change with us here but we are blessed and lucky enough to stay together for one last transfer.'

Making Christmas cookies!

.... we went to Oberndorf, the place where the song 'Silent Night' was written! :) the church in which it was originally written was torn down sadly because it was a wreck but
there is a new chapel/ little church that was built as a memorial. It's pretty cool.

Happy Thanksgiving!

'We also had Thanksgiving this week on Saturday! :) yes I know, a little early, but here in Europe Thanksgiving is not an official holiday, sadly, and therefore all the people have to work during the week. Here in our ward there are a handful of American and American-Austrian families and so they celebrate Thanksgiving and they invited us :) it was so good! But yeah most of you know that anyway haha'

P-Day Adventure
'Hey there! You would not believe where I'm writing emails today haha we got the opportunity from members in our ward to go see a huge, beautiful mountain and we are waiting for the train to take us up there and we're writing emails as we do so, and we are sitting right next to a beautiful lake :) see pictures for evidence haha man I'm
getting really excited right now haha first of all it's fall and it's absolutely beautiful here right now haha the leaves and turning colors and the work is just good and I'm so happy right now haha!'
